My works will be exhibited in the photography section of the 80th art festival “GENTEN” sponsored by the Contemporary Artists Association, scheduled to be held at the National Art Center, in Roppongi, Tokyo, Japan.

写真部門　写真作品：「ゆらぎ」(A2 : 420×594mm)　（会友）出品

作品説明：被写体は、能登半島石川県登録有形文化財の建造物の一部でもありましたが、2024年1月1日の能登半島地震で倒壊の危機に陥りました。建造物は、現在再建中との事です。しかし、時代の流れと共にもう使われる事はなく、この和蝋燭に時計として火が灯る事はないのかもしれません。この度は、復興の願いを込めて希望の光として火を灯した作品です。

80th Anniversary Exhibition, sponsored by the Contemporary Artists Association, Photography Section, Photo work: “Yuragi” (A2: 420 x 594mm) (Associate Member)

Work description: The subject of this work is part of a building on the Noto Peninsula, which is a registered tangible cultural property of Ishikawa Prefecture, but was in danger of collapsing due to the Noto Peninsula earthquake on January 1, 2024. The building is currently under reconstruction. However, as time goes by, it will no longer be used, and this Japanese candle will no longer be lit as a clock. This work created to light a flame of hope in the hearts of the victims, with the hope of recovery.
