On this page, I will introduce a certain photo that I took in the past that left an impression on me, or that I took because of some thought. The photos and explanations will be replaced without being left behind, so please take a look if you are interested! I’m hoping to update on the weekend, but I’ll leave photos from about a week ago up so you can see them. So… I would be very happy if you could send me your thoughts.

Currently, we are delivering photos taken before the Noto earthquake occurred on New Year’s Day 2024, from Nanao City to the northern part of the Noto Peninsula in Ishikawa Prefecture. We sincerely hope for Noto’s post-disaster reconstructiona speedy recovery.
現在、2024年元旦に能登地震が発生する前に撮影した写真を、石川県七尾市から能登半島北部エリアまで掲載しています。能登の一日も早い復興を心よりお祈り申し上げます。
All the swan photos I’ve taken up until now have been such a grand spectacle when taken from a distance. And then, one more swan spread its large, majestic wings towards me. It was a spectacular sight. If I had to say one thing, the weather was a little bad, but perhaps it was only because of the weather that I was able to enjoy the view. And I was caught in heavy rain, but that made the view even more wonderful. I’m grateful to the swans. And we are grateful for the great nature of Noto! I’d like to end my swan photos here. これまで撮影してきた白鳥の写真は、どれも遠くから捉えた壮大な光景ばかりでした。そして、また一羽の白鳥が、大きく堂々とした翼を私の方へと広げました。それは実に素晴らしい眺めでした。あえて一つ言うなら、天気は少し悪かったのですが、むしろその天気のおかげで、この景色を楽しめたのかもしれません。激しい雨にも降られましたが、それによって景色はさらに素晴らしいものになりました。白鳥たちに感謝です。そして、能登の雄大な自然にも感謝！白鳥の写真の紹介は、ここで締めくくりたいと思います。これからもどうぞよろしくお願いいたします。 （更新日：2025年6月21日）
A photo from a week ago
(Tatduruhama, Nanao City, Ishikawa Prefecture)
In this photo, it doesn’t look too strange, but in fact, there are times when the three swans dive together to pick up water plants with only their bottoms above the surface. When you watch them, it really feels like the swans are making fun of me, and I lose interest in taking photos at all (lol). It’s as if the swans are seriously testing you on something. Maybe that’s what it means to deal with nature.

この写真ではそれほど奇妙には見えませんが、実際には、3羽の白鳥が揃ってお尻だけを水面に出し、水草をついばむために潜るような場面もあります。そんな姿を見ていると、まるで白鳥にからかわれているような気分になり、写真を撮る気さえ失せてしまいます（笑）。まるで、白鳥が我々に何かを真剣に試しているかのようです。自然と向き合うとは、そういうことなのかもしれません。
